    @TNARIPPER,

    This is NOT so, you can use NeroVision as per my example in this thread
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/356114/2104525

    @yosal,

    This original version of Nero7 was buggy, uninstall, run this clean tool,http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then insatll this version, 7.0.8.2 from here
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845

    in my opinion ALL versions after this one are buggy as well

    You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

    TNARIPPER , First thing, read the forum rules, you do NOT post in caps, combine your replies to one post, dont spread over 4 and lastly, I refute your statement that you have to convert AVI files before you burn with Nero, if you cared to check out my simple guide you would see that no prior conversion is needed.

    You seem to have a good deal of bad attitude so I will refer this to a mod.

    help please - from Gwen?? I posted before about avi files suddenly increasing in size when one is moving things around on Vision Exp.
    I followed your recent advice, uninstalled, cleaned up, re -installed back to ver 7 0 8 2 and it is still happening.
    I tried to work on a 1.2GB .avi film file from the net - which plays OK on my screen - and Nero just jumped to 4.8GB and I just can't see how to get round it.
    I have just now tried a) restarting computer then b) shifting the file to another hard drive and then renaming it - it still is unworkably large. This file is obviously a rip back to SVCD standard from a .mpg DVD - timing is 2h 09 mins - could this be a reason? Brian

    Sounds like your video quality setting is set to automatic so it is streching the video to take up the entire disc.

    Towards the bottom left corner, push the "More" button and select the DVD-Video tab. You can adjust the quality settings from here. Also if set to automatic you should just be able to import another video file and it will automaticly reduce quality to fit everything on the disc.
