    Hello all,
I have looked all over and have had no luck finding an answer, so here goes my question....I have a Lexar jumpdrive secure 256mb usb drive. I have it formatted to fat32. When I insert it into the xbox I get a message that says " the memory unit you inserted isn't functioning; it may be damaged" I have read that this is nomal, but when I try to drag a the save game file to the usb drive which is setup as an action replay, I get a message saying that there is not enough space. I know I have it setup correctly because I have used usbview and I get the AR to ligh up green, so I have the driver installed correctly. It would seem that because the usb drive is not formatted by the xbox to fatx format the action replay software cannot determine the drive info. There are no files on the drive so there should be 256mb of storage. I know that this drive is supported by xbox because it's listed on several websites as supported. I am out of ideas, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

What are you using to try to format through the XB? Just the bios using format partition.
