Can only change region four times?

    Please exscuse me being naive, im new to backing up dvds.

    Im currently backing up dvds with dvd shrink but for some reason whenever it comes to the region selection i am told that my drive only allows me to change region four times. I have no idea what region to put it on?, does it matter?, i assume my dvd player can play all. However i live in NewZealand so i just set the region to Australia(The closest location).

    Any help with this would be appreciated

    Australia's the one you want. And 4 changes sounds about right with most burners.

    Download DVD43 (FREE) or AnyDVD ($$$) and they will bypass the region encoding so you can back up any import vids with out changing the region setting.

    Also download DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and read up on how to use them ( http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ )as these are the best FREE encoding/burning tools available if you didnt already know.
