i have a surround sound system for my computer that i just got, and i want to connect it up to my tv so when i watch dvd's or play ps2 games i get the surround sound, however the unit connects with only one mini stereo cable, and when i have it connected to my tv, only the front 2 speakers work, not the bak, but if i unplug the stereo cable and put it into my laptop all 4 work, how can i get it so that all 4 speakers work on my tv?

I don't understand, you have a surround sound speakers that only have a total of one 3.5 mm plug? How can this give you surround sound? it only has 3 pieces of information (left, right and common). What is the model and manufacture of these speakers? Are you sure there isn't two plugs, that is more common with the creative THX certifided speakers.
