can you guys help me get on to xbox live

    ok i have a soft modded xbox(maps)and (linux) and i have checked my ip adresse, they are all fine, but when i go to sign into xbox live it says there are reqirud updates so i click on it and my xbox stops for 5 secounds and it say that my xbox reqiures sevice. HELP ME!!!

    P.S. i no i will get banned from match making, im only going to mod in custom games.

    yea, you have to put in your halo 2 disc. then shut off your x-box and then restart it.

    try changing from static ip to dhcp
