Can you suggest a good dvd burner to buy

    I just recentely bought a Philips Internal,8x DVD+RW drive DL (DVDRW885) which at first I was a bit dissapointed with as a switch was needed to burn different types of media e.g DVD-R and DVD+R and dual layer.

    However since then Philips have relesed a 1.9 version firmware update to do away with this switch tool niggle.

    Now I'm very happy with the burner and have had no problems with it.

    The update is here for anyone that needs it, Just make sure you choose the right model number
