cant back up a movie

    Hi all, i have got the movie..Highlander 4 (Endgame) and i cannot make a back-up copy, i have tried smartripper and dvdexpress but both lock up on 4%.the original disc looks in perfect condition.. i havn't got any problems backing up any other movies just this one...any ideas please...thanks ....Rob

    There are 2 other rippers that are constantly used by many members here at aD & they are :
    DVD Decrypter
    DVD Shrink

    yeah what herbsman said I have backed up half My dvd collection so far close to 200 dvd's and dvd decrypter has not failed Me once yet:)

    i think that dvdshrink is the best one out there. one of the best things about it is that you can select an opinion which removes that layer pause break in the middle of the movie. you may want to try difference dvd media as well. i had success with tdk thus far.
