Cant burn downloaded video files

and one more thing when i get my faster burner back what speed should i have it on, or should i use the max supported by the media?

 

there is some contention with this question at the moment on AD.i'm in the group that says 4x is the speed you should be using.There is also another group who says 16x is fine.

It will come down to what you are comfortable with and with what success you have at 4x and then at 16 x .I cant decide for you but suggest you try all the different speeds.

thanks so much for all your help, and the media plays fine with no skips on my computer so i am guessing i need a top end dvd player to play it in since mine is broken and the other is bunk. But I would like to let you know i appreciate all your help
