Can't burn with Nero 6.6.0.18 and DVD Shrink?!!

I your burner is sharing the IDE channel with another CD drive, disable the other drive as shown/told to and try the update again.

 

I only have one drive. I tried disabling the secondary IDE channel and then trying the update but getting the same result as before?

 

If the update is failing, chances are that it's incorrect for your burner. I wasn't able to find one, but maybe another member might be able to.

Give another brand of media a try and as gwendolin suggested slow down to 4x when burning (your log shows that you're still at 8x).

Ok, so i've updated the RAM in my pc, updated firmware, using better media and burning now at 4x. I managed about 4 or 5 successful burns then had a couple which failed at the lead-out. The latest one did not even start to burn? Here is the log, can anyone help please?
