cant delete file

    i cant delete .wmv video clip. it says = used by another person or program. no program is using it i think. what i do?

    try going in safe mode to delete file

    did you download it via bit torrent? if so close bit torrent, or whatever filesharing app..

    Get a program off the net called "MoveOnBoot" by GiPo@Utilities. With that you simply right click on the offending file, tell it to delete after the next boot, and after a restart the file is gone!! I have found no other successful method for getting rid of some files, not even safe mode. This program is incredibly useful. Windows xp does have a habit of locking onto files and not letting them go...
