    Hi All,
I just wiped my drive and redid Windows XP Pro and decided to setup "Super Partitioning" using the guide here: http://www.zapwizard.com/Guides/Partitioning/How-To.html
I copied all the folders it said to (Program Files, Documents and Settings, ect.) to their new partitions with no trouble, but once I got to step nine, which is the step where you delete the original folders, I got stuck. First I couldn't delete the contents of "program files," but then I booted into safe mode and it deleted fine. Then I tried to delete the contents of "Documents and Settings" but I got an error message that said somthing like "The folder Administrator is needed by Windows and connot be deleted." I tried deleting it in Safe mode with no sucess. At zapwizard.com they provided a "solution" to the problem of some files refuse to be deleted. The solution said that I should search the registry for "C:\Documents and Settings," and correct the search resaults to their new locations so that I could restart my comp and nothing would be running from C:\Documents and Settings, but the that wasn't what was keeping Documents and Settings from being deleted in the first place, so is there else should I try? Thanks in advance for the help!

That's a great idea! I'm acctually going to use a ubuntoo live cd since I already have a few of them. Thanks, I can't belive I didn't think of that! And by the way, that was an excellent graphic signature guide, I made my sig with it! I know my sig sucks, but thanks to you I could make one at all! Thanks for the great guide phantom69!!!

    no problem...
an idea for your sig might be to change the whole pinkish whitish scheme and stick with a sort of yellowish black colouring... just a suggestion, its up to you....

and BTW i hope that your problem is solved now.

Ya, i'm sure my problem is fixed. And BTW thanks for the suggestion about my sig, I think you're right, it's the wierd color balance that made it look so strange! Thanks again, Phantom69!

Hey, I booted up my sys w/ a ubuntu linux live cd, and it couldn't see niether of my HDs (so I obviously couldn't delete the files I wanted too). Would I be able to see my HDs so I can delete those files if I booted w/ a knoppix disc? Thanks!

i dont know, but since they do not make a cd distro of knoppix any more, you can try DLing DSL (damn small linux) which is a 50mb bootable cd that works sort of the same, you can try with that.
