My wife has an IPod video and I use an RCA Lyra x3030. Although the RCA lyra player will support the video part of an MP4 made for an IPod it does not support the sound part of the MP4. I'm looking for an alternative file type that would work on both so I don't have to covert the same file 2 times separately to fully work on both. Is there a way to adjust sound settings in a program such a CloneDVd mobile or does anyone know of a program that would do compatible video media file output for both devices? Heres a link to the software I use and a link to website that lists the formats supported by my RCA Lyra x3030 media device. http://www.any-dvd-converter.com/ http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonedvd-mobile.html http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:RCA Ly...NlYwNzaWJzcGVj Heres a link where I've recently posted asking this question. devices.http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?p=336040#post336040 What video format should I use ? - FileForums
Thats exactly what I'm trying to avoid!!!!!!!!! Converting the file twice. I want one format that will work on both players. It does not matter what format just so it works on both players if its possible. Divx won't work on an Ipod. MP4's however do work on both but the sound from the MP's I convert with the programs mentioned are incompatable with the Lyra player.
