cant read dvd

    my ILO dvdrhdo4 after hack wizzard install .. ....... copy.....ok.....the function you specfeid is not supported on this format ....... what do you think is going on i restarted with hack file name wmja1201.dao on cd and it promped me to update and i did ................................ restore ...........................then erase harddrive then put in dvd (last kig of scotland ) same error msg . can you help please

    Is the Last king of Scotland a commercial disk?

    If so the disk is CP. The recorder will not copy such a disk to the HDD even if hacked.
    The hack is for analog Macro Vision like that in a VHS tape.

    yes it is a comercial dvd so that is my problem...... so wat ar some of the uses for the upgrade

    A quote from the site on firmware 1201

    "Added ability to copy JPG and MP3 files to the HDD
    Added closed captioning to the recorder"

    None of the prior or any firmware will allow the recorder to copy a commercial CP disk. Its a legal issue
