I can't record anything on my Starview The Box Super USB. I have tried all the Software upgrades (Including latest V1.07). When I try to record from either the EPG menu or direct from the current program, I get "Recording Init" on the TV screen, the Box Shows "Rec" but the tv Screen is frozen along with the Box. Pressing exit and any other button does nothing; I have to reboot the Box by switching the On/Off switch on the rear of the Box. When I'm back on,I look in the HDD it shows the program that I tried to record but with O Kb shown. I have tried recording with a 250Gb external hard drive and also a 16Gb USB pen drive with the same results. Can anybody tell me if I'm doing something wrong or have I got a faulty Box?
mine record fine with a 8gb kingston data traveler pen flash using the latest v1.07 maybe a faulty box?
although the epg on starview 4 usb v1.07 still only gives a couple of hours of listings,i suppose you have to keep using the download on epg to get better listings?
