I understand what you're saying, but what I mean is how am I going to download software to work on removing the malware. I know we've been working on this for a while and I really appreciate your help.
And if you don't mind I'd like to ask you another question.

I was looking to see what services were started and which were stopped, and I saw that I could start some services but some I could'nt.I noticed that the services I could'nt start such as(system restore, windows audio, help and support)had the same "PATH TO EXECUTABLE"

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe-k netsvcs

This message appears when I try to start one of those services "The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service".

    ANY IDEAS?

you have malware but you also have another problem with those services, cant really say if its related to the malware or not. for the most part malware wants a computer with a internet connection.

    answer:
I have no idea whats wrong with all those services. i have never encountered the problem before and i have answered many many hjt logs.

Tucker001 said to format and reinstall. I don't know how to do that, I'm pretty sure you guys would tell me how to do it, but I have a few questions.

    Is there any risk?

Is it just a suggestion, or do you realy think it will fix my problems?

the risk is: reformatting will wipe your hd. you should pull off anything you dont want to lose. documents, pictures etc. you can burn it cd/dvd or transfer it to usb flash memory. software etc you can always reinstall.

yes because you will be wiping out everything on your hd and will be starting over with a clean new installation of windows.

you should visit your computer vendors website. most of them provide good instructions/guides on how to reinstall windows.

Ok, I think I'll try that, but before I do, do you think I should try posting my questions in a different section, considering this is for viruses and spyware and my problem turned into something else.

I checked out the HP website and I was reading about audio devices not being detected(one of my problems)and it said it could be some software that stopped the audio device. Since these problems started after I used combofix I just wanted to know how can I check to make sure Combofix and any part of it is completely removed from my pc.

I could'nt find anything on reformatting and reinstalling windows on the HP website. Could you post a link, please.

Are you sure there are no major risk in doing this?

I just ask because I'm worried about making things worst.

and i wouldnt try to help anyone if i havent done it myself.
your best source of info is going to be the hp website

I asked around and it turned out to be very simple all I had to do was run system recovery to reinstall windows.

I'm happy to say I'm typing this on my computer. Everything is back to normal.

Thank you for all your help. Special thanks to echoreply.

You didn't use any CD installation? You mean to say that I can just restart my computer and go to the boot menu and click 'run system recovery' without me, putting an XP re installation CD?

Coz recently, I've been planning to re-format my computer so that I can once again experience what it feels like having a brand new PC. You know, the feeling when you first bought your PC and it was ultimately fast without any freezes and whatnot...

No, I did'nt use an installation cd.

If you have a recovery drive just run system recovery. (save what you need)

I did'nt do it from the boot menu. I just went to the start menu > all programs > pc help & tools > hp pc system recovery.

Oh I see. So what happened next is that all programs that you installed(personal choices)got deleted and it all went back from the basic installed programs?
