Solved Can't see Kodi homescreen

HI all,
I am using an Emish android box that is working OK with Mobdro and Amazon Video but when I click on the Kodi icon on the main screen to install some more addons no home page appears on the screen.

It was working before as I followed the thread Newbies Guide and was able to install superrepo.
What do I need to do to get it back?

what do you mean by homepage in kodi? can you put a picture up

you may have to uninstall and install again theres a good thread on here how to get it all working again

It's just a black screen, so nothing.

I'll have a look at the thread you mention and see how I get on.

Hi, do you connect to your tv via hdmi or av,i had the same problem,works well via hdmi,but loads and the screen goes black via the av connection.

 

HDMI and it's been fine until now and no changes made so can't think why it would stop showing.

 

I've solved this now by un-installing and re-installing the latest version of Kodi and everything is working fine.

Thanks Tongs007 I will do that. I've found this forum incredibly useful because when you get an android TV box it has no instructions or real indication of what to do so I'm sure I'll be back often
