I think I'm going to buy the PSU around 50$ at a store to see if it works then I'll just order what core2kid suggested from newegg, unless there is something better or more bang for the buck or however the saying goes. >.< Thanks again!
That sounds about right, but make sure you get a quality power supply from the store as well. I know you won't be using it long, but cheap power supplies can destroy entire PCs when new out of the box. Their warranties don't cover the cost of the components they take out either.
Just get an Antec, those are good and you'll be sure that you don't break any components. They are expensive but you'll be returning it anyways. For example, Staples has a 350W Antec PSU for $50.
I went to best buy today and bought a 430 watt antec for 77$ (wow O.O) and thanks to you guys, I have fixed the problem. It was the psu that was causing the problem! Thanks guys! I'm planning on returning this and purchasing this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153023 off of newegg as it has the highest rating and its at a reasonable cost. Thanks guys for your help!
Yea, the one from newegg is a good PSU, just make sure that its enough power and you also account for capacitor aging and wear and tear over time. Use this calculator to calculate how much power your computer needs and its best to go with 100w more than what your computer needs for when the PSU ages. http://www.extreme.outervision.com/powercalc.jsp And the PSU from Best Buy was expencive!
