Hey there! I use DVDclone and anydvd, and my back ups always work fine except that I can never use the DVD rom content on a disk. When I select it in the menu it says to put the dvd in a dvd rom drive. I use my burner to read the disk but I don't think that should matter. I just did Monster House for example and can't use the dvd rom stuff. Thanks
If you are using CloneDVD2 - or most DVD-copying programs that also do compression - the DVD-ROM content won't be copied in your backup. The easiest thing to do is - WITH ANYDVD RUNNING - just copy the disc to your hard drive and then use Nero, or some other program capable of burning DVDs as Video-DVD to the disc. Beware, though, that most of that crap they put on DVDs as DVD-ROM "extras" is spyware or installs lots of unwanted crap. Beware.
