I have just purchased my 1st dvd burner. I was trying to use DVD-X-COPY back up some of my kids movies to a dvd-r. I manage to back up 1 disc to a DVD+RW but when I used DVD-R the DVD-X-COPY tell me that the drive is unavailable. I do have a dual format dvd burner (dvd-r, dvd-rw, dvd+r, dvd+rw). I was able to burn data DVD-Rs with easy cd creator. Am I doung something wrong? or might my drive be defective.
Vt102 XCopy can be picky sometimes you may want to try to reboot computer if you are backing up 2 movies in a row. You really need to try the fourms here. http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/52 They are really helpful. Cobragc
