I am hoping you have the power button on the remote and the back of the box that works. Her is a brief instruction on loading it up. Try it with the two buttons you have if they are the ones that work.

I am not the author for this. It is a simple compilation of the Various FTA Gurus knowledge.

    1. Perform a Factory Default in the receiver first.
    2. Turned the power switch in the back while holding the power switch in the front.
    3. Now the LED display will show “Boot”
    4. Connect regular NULL Modem Cable with direct Serial Port in the computer (No USB Serial is allowed)
    5. Execute CW f2atv_com v1.04_plusUSB.exe
    6. Select COM1 (Make sure that is the right one)
    7. Select Download S/W
    8. Browse & Select CW600SV1.14_Recorder_2_20_07.bin
    9. Press Start to update the software. At the end the LED will show “–END”.
    10. Turn the power off and turn it on with power switch in the front is held down.
    11. Now the LED display will show “Boot”
    12. Browse & Select CX-LoaderV2.50.bin
    13. Press Start to update the software. At the end the LED will show “–END”.
    14. Turn the power off and turn it on the LED will show “0000”
    15. Press the power switch in the front. Now the LED will show “--:--“
    16. Execute CW f2atv_com v1.05.EXE
    17. Select Download S/W
    18. Select the right COM port (You can use USB Serial port for this, no restriction)
    19. Browse & Select CX-KroundV1.13_Captiveworks-25-05-2006.bin
    20. Press Start to update the software. At the end the LED will show “–END”.
    21. Turn the power off and turn it on the LED will show “0000”
    22. Press the power switch in the front. Now the LED will show “--:--“
    23. Browse & Select CW600SKroundV1.35_LocalCity.bin
    24. Press Start to update the software. At the end the LED will show “–END”.
    25. Turn the power off and turn it on the LED will show “0000”
    26. Perform a Factory Default in the receiver again.
    27. Do the Transponder settings as per the settings in the next page.
    28. Do Antenna settings as per the settings in the next page.
    29. After all the channels are found Press “F1” in the remote and press “000” make sure the display says “Patch Enabled” if not do another “F1” and “000”
    30. Turn the power off and turn it on the LED will show “0000”
    31. Now you should be smiling.
    32. Play with the menus and remote to find all the features & games.
