   Can Nero 7 Ultra capure analog video from a VCR and burn it directly to DVD like a stand alone DVD burner can?

   Yes it can, providing you have a video capture card, I have a WinFast 2000XP, however I would not recommend doing it direct to DVD.
   Yhe method I use is to capture files to HD in mpeg format and then burn, it takes longer but mistake free.
