trying to capture video from my digital camcorder. I am using nero vision.But, what format do I use. Will probably keep files on my hard drive, occasionaly making a dvd for family. I want to copy using the highest quality. Do I use DV, SVCD, DVD, Nero Digital, AVI, MPEG-2 ???????
avi would be the best as you can do a lot with them. If you need to make them dvd compliant its rather easy to convert them to a dvd compatble format
