Hi, I really don't know what the word is to describe the resulting playback image so I will need to attach a pic of the playback file.
I have quite a few tapes recorded on a trip and didn’t realise the resulting error in the playback image till after.
I need to know if it is at all possible of fixing the recorded files.
As a note the sound is fine. Quality of image is fine. Just look at the pic and you will see my dilemma.

Why does my link to the pic not show? I followed the instructions and am using the referred imageshack site?

    Cyprusrom,

Thank you for your reply. I will look into the links you have provided.
The camera has been looked at by the store where it was purchased from and they had reported sand to be present inside of it someplace.
Makes sense because the last place we were at before this happened was the beach :)
However, I hope I can repair the played back files and not loose them.
