    Hello

    I bought Hauppage's TV-card: http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_pvrusb2.html

Everything else seems to work fine except I can not get NTSC video in color into my PC, i.e. result is black&white. Normal TV signal and PAL video tapes work OK.

I am from Finland where our native video standard is PAL, but still my VCR does play NTSC videos also (e.g. I can watch those tapes with my TV (and in color, that is.. ;)).

    What might be causing this?

    BR,

    Hiya,

It may be a silly question, but...

Have you set the Haupagge capture software to use NTSC when you are trying it?

As you can capture PAL ok, you probably have it set for PAL...

    Hope this helps...

    Ok,

    How are you connecting?

    Scart?
    S-Video?
    Composite?

buy a pal-ntsc converter, you just need a cheap analoge one, cost about £20 on ebay.

Tried both; Composite and Coaxial. Result is exactly the same.
