car pc projects, who else has/is doing one??

    wassup everyone...

    well... like most frequent flyers here, i'm a geek.. i've started a new project to put a pc in my car and i hope to be completed in two weeks or so.. and well, who else has or is doing this type of project?

    just curious... oh yea, if anyone's at all interested, i did post a page on my progress and all.
    i got my minibook pc and my lcd, just gotta mount and wire now! hehe...

    I'd be curious to see them as well. I had thought about doing that, even back in my Commodore 64 days. Now that I have a laptop I didn't see as much of a point.

    nice! that is pretty sweet.. i hope to get my system like that...

    i've decided to not use my minibook pc, rather i'm building a micro-atx based system, powering it with an opus poewrsupply (built in shutdown controller and relay!), prob mount my dvd drive in my glovebox or dash (under my pioneer headunit) and my pc in trunk by subwoofer...

    i'll try to update my site soon again with what i did try with my first attempt..
    got me a dremel too! so its on!!!!

    Hi seamonkey
    Make sure the hard drives are far far far far away from the subwoofers otherwise your hard drives will be blank - subwoofer magnets are very strong

    Use Loc-Tite on your screws if your case is by the sub ;)
