Been out of the game since N3, have decided to got the satellite route after many hrs of head scratching I have decided to pay someone else to set it up for me & pay them sub. 1 question.....are there any options to beam the signal to another room rather than buy another box & pay 2nd sub?? I did ask what box he is providing he said (something like) Optima or Optimax apologies am unsure what he said.

I meant beam a hd signal, I have seen hd video senders on ebay but they are mad money. Was thinking more on the lines of a sky eye maybe but I duno if it would work. Or another cheap option that I wasn't aware of

curious i am having a tinker with an iomega screenplayer director hd media player to stream from the vu+duo and pc any recordings can be played in another room with tv as its all on a lan network, not to sure if you can do live streaming but if people did not want to buy a second box and sub??.box has to allow media streaming like the vu and the dm as other boxes may not.

funny i was looking at the dlink geebox just yesterday. kids both have ipods so was thinking about the internal streaming option also (purely for the fun of doing something new). The pain is that for all devices to watch their own channels an individual tuner is required in which case I would have to upgrade to the dm8000 so looks like this is going to get knocked on the head.
