I have a weird question. I have an image of a CD on my PC and to me, sounds better being played at 1.4x rather then normal 1.0x, how do I save the music at the 1.4x reate? Is this possible? It's a little quick but, the music has a snappier beat to it if played at 1.4x. Thanks for your help.

Try foobar2000'd diswriter with DSP enabled and use soundtouch DSP to get what you want.

BTW: Only 1.4x faster or 1.4x faster + 1.4x higher pitch?

I am actually playing it ".4x" faster, not 1.4x. I found a program called "All Recorder v1.9.6". Has an option called "Record What You Hear". Only drawback is that it needs to be played at an approximate level to what you want to listen to it at. I.e., if the volume is "low or off, then when you listen to it, it will be low or off. Will give it a whirl when the house is empty...play it a little loud.

    Thanks for your input.
