I have CD Writer in both desktop and laptop. When I write CD-RW on desktop it becomes read-only media on laptop and vice versa. I'm using Roxio CD Creator with latest update. Any idea from any guru.....

If you burn a CD-RW as a standard ISO disc it will be read only and you need to erase it in order to write again.

You can also install a packet writing software (Ahead InCD, DirectCD..) to both of these computers if you like to use them "like a floppy disc".

Oh Thanks for your reply. I have already Direct CD installed on both computers with latest patches and using Direct-CD to write on RW media. I have applied same level of updates/patches from Roxio on both computers with any luck so far.
