Hi there. I'm using Nero 6.6.1.15 and I have a Sony DVD RW AW-G170A. I've been usin this setup for well over a year now and had no problems. For sum reason I used a newer version of Nero a long time ago and it created skips in the CDs. I'm usin the same CD's and same version of Nero that I always have and all of a sudden it's skippin when burnin CD-R's. DVD's are still fine, makes perfect copies etc but CD's are skipping and I have no idea why as nuttin in my setup has changed! Any ideas? Thanx in advance.
Does it skip when you drag it into the compilation window and click the play button? There are many references in Google to this problem. http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/archive/index.php/t-48020.html Seems to show up in Nero 7 and some Nero 6. Do a search on your PC and check the properties for the version number. "replace mp3pro.dll with and earlier version than 2.0.4.8" Good luck.
