    Hi:

I recently bought an ASUS DRW-24B1ST burner to replace an aging Pioneer drive. It did a few DVDrs just fine but I used it to burn a cdr for the car and found it only will burn starting at 16X speed up to 48X. Problem is my car stereo only seems to like cds burned at around 4X. The problem is not the media (TDK) as it plays just fine on my computer. I looked high and low at the website where I bought the burner and neither the retailer or the manufacturer has specs for lowest drive speed. The maximum speed is shown but never the lowest for CDR. Any ideas of a burner that will support 4x speed?

    Thanks
