I had to read this TWICE...you need at least 512mb RAM to successfully burn DVDs so an upgrade is needed. Update firmware to 1.06 from here http://us.lgservice.com/jsp/common/...L_NAME_b1_a1=CED8080BFirm106.exe&FILE_GUBUN=B Burning way too SLOW, try 32X...and BTW: those discs ARE poor quality.
