Has anyone heard of intermittant problems with the MMDS Eurovox TX box on the 266mhz freq ?
this freq carries bbc1,2,ch4,utv, & others,....it can be fine for a few days & then there is a lot of picture break up & freezing,...I read on another forum that the some philips tuners in the Dreambox 500T have a flat spot on 266mhz which can cause this problem,..any ideas/help would be welcome.

I think your right,..I setup a Max V in Dunboyne last week, a NTSmell cable mmds area & found nothing using symbol rate of 6875 which was strange but tried another scan using 6887 & all channels came in.

Yep Lenny thats because you used the correct symbol rate for N**, 6875 is only for Ch**us areas. Although good to know you got it working in Dunboyne, had they got an MMDS aerial or was it a communal feed from a local transmitter?

No antennas about the place so I assume it's a communal feed,..the Malahide area must be CH**us communal cable because I setup some Max V's there using symbol rate 6875 & they worked grand, did u see yesterdays evening herald ? seems a lot of boxes were seized in finglas !!!

Yep but the idiot did openly advertise them with "all" channels, to be expected.
