changeing skins

did it but it still wont work

 

whats the problem?? what happens

 

ok i put it in that skins folder changed my skin directory to that folder but when i go to the dashboard settings and go to skins its not in any of my options

 

what dash are u using??
and like panzy said copy it to E:\SKINS\ did u do that

try just E\Skins (no colon)

 

the extra colon is need to close the folder name...

 

still no dice...it just plain wont work...i think im just gonna give up

lol..yea but this isnt sticky material its some thing i did on my spare time it took about 10 minutes to do and it works all the time...

and also make sure u got winRAR and nero..

 

thats where i got the skin from... its the halo one... ive unzipped the folder then i tried ftping it and making a data cd...but i think im gonna retry the data cd one this weekend...ill tell you how it works out

 

i think i know what your doing wrong do u have winRAR...fisrt install it then download the skins...then locate the rar file(THE SKIN) then extract it and then after u extract it a folder should show up of the skin you extracted after that u add it to your xbox

 

i have something like winrar except its called extract now...i got a zip folder when i d/led it then used extact now to extract then sent it to my xbox

 

get winrar and then open the file there should be a .rar in it unrar that and send it to your skins folder and it should work
