I am using Nero Vision Express 3. I load the video files into the program, then select “Edit Movie”.
I select the video file and then properties, the sound is set to 33%, I move the slider to 200% then burn the movie to the hard drive.
When finished, I open Vision Express and place the video file I just completed into Vision Express, I select “Edit Movie”, then properties, but the sound is only showing 33%.
I had also removed the tick from Smart Encoding.
I would appreciate some advise of how to keep the sound at a higher level.

I suppose my first question would be why is the audio set at 33%? On my files, it seems to open, at least, at 100%.

Otherwise, you can only use what you have. Perhaps export the audio into Wave Editor and increase the volume and then re-insert it on another audio channel, or try changing some of the sound quality settings.

Saltgrass, thank you for the reply.
Any video file I place in Vision Express shows the sound at 33%, I do not know why.
Is there anywhere I can make changes to this setting?
I looked up the manual, it does not make any mention.

I don't use that software, so I wouldn't know if there was a setting to make it do that. All I might think would be the volume was very loud to start and was reduced as it was imported. Once again, you might try changing some of the audio settings to see if you can change that circumstance. Since I don't use it, maybe it always sets the sound to 33%. Does the sound after you re-import video appear to be at the same level as the original video?

you load the video files into the program.... the slide bar is to show you that it will shrink the movie and the AUDIO CHANNELL to 33%..... that's the size of the audio channel not the volume! check out this thread and see what needs to be done to increase your volume of the audio channel:
