Hi after rescanning my box (the Box) last night to get my sly sports back, it obviously wiped out my channel lists.

but when i download the channel dump that i had on before, it changes the sly sports back to a scrambled channel.

    any help?

    Cheers

Thats because it is out dated you need to make a new one.

Look in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post, you will find the SVCE, (Starview Channel Editor) and guide on how to use it there.

Sorry look in the Starview Software Folder there are two versions obviously pick the later one. Also in the Starview Documentation folder you will find the guide. The SVCE is for all Starview models.

    Hi scouser, me again!
i've fallin at the first hurdle, i hooked up my box to the pc, opened up the svce....and it was blank, how do i get the channel list up so i can start the editing?

oh i also tried to open the last channel dump that i used into it, it came up with a file access denied message?

alternativly do you know where i can get an up to date channel dump for the Edinburgh area.

    Cheers in advance

    CREATE A CHANNEL DUMP

Connect the SV to the PC and put it on stand-by

    Open GT ROM LOADER

    Click "Channel Data File"

Click "UPLOAD" and NAME and LOCATE the channel dump you want to save to your PC , Click SAVE

Wait till you see the pop up b0x "Download Complete" before disconnecting

Now open SVCE program and click File > Open > locate the Channel Dump you just saved and move , rename as you like and SAVE , then transfer the file back to your SV and you have the channels in order etc
