Hi all , Chr***s still ok in cork. Have evox sl 1000 and sv3 both working, but stragely my uk supplier has emailed me about 25 % price reductions.Is this just a coincedence ????

 

in dublin south still down so i now have a box super with nothing at all
a box super usb movies are gone sports are gone all the rest are still there had a feeling this was going to happen in aug sept and i was right next q is i also have a dish with the s*y box and a card thats been cancelled i only sub to the card had all the rest any ideas to get it up again pms pleas to keep it all above board if i gat a decent solution i wil pass it on to any one who wants it

An obvious question no doubt but presumably sky are going to migrate all the other channels to nag 3 in due course?

Sky via Sat use NDS, never been hacked full stop.

 

sorry mate s*y has been hacked but i dont know wheather the chap still has the box or not!
how it was done was a friends of mine, his dad was in spain last year and a dealer on a stall sold him a box that he said was for s*y only, for i think €50 and how it worked was he pluged the box in to his s*y box and it sends a signal from the dogey 1 to the s*y 1 and fools the system to think its hooked up to a house phone, and he was getting access to all channels, (thats the best way i can explain it)
and that was still going strong 6 months ago until i had a fall out with my mate, so i cant give an update if it is still working today cos they {s*y} were sending out new cards themselfs around the time we had our arguement
also when i was talking to my ex-mates dad about the box he said the chap on the stall he got it from said he makes the boxes up himself,
another thing about this box was the size, it was the same size as a modem/router.
ps:1 thing i did forget to put in was when the boxes were connected it asked for a pin, which he got of his card the last 3 digits.

 

dreambox 500s are same size.

 

Any idea if there could be a fix for the sv4 or would it be more likely a new box?

Its some sort of software, but not for cable boxes, so be warned dont try to put it on, as not only will all your movie and sports be gone, so will your box. IT will be dead.

Hey lads, maybe a bit of good news a buddy of mine in UK on N*L lost his movies and Sport last week, so maybe UK has also gone to Nag 3. Hopefully that will focus some serious work on getting a fix. Fingers crossed.

 

My movies and sport are working fine here in the UK so it's not a nag3 issue.
