I am using Nero Vision 4 and have a problem with the picture quality of my projects at chapter marks. Whether I manually create the chapters, or let Nero automatically detect them....At most chapter marks in the video, the picture becomes jittery for several seconds. I have tried a variety of media: TDK, Verbatim, Maxell and Sony with pretty much the same results. The video files were originally recorded on a Panasonic Stand alone, changed to MPEG files and cleaned up with PVAstrumento (Nero Support's suggestion). I am using a Sony DRX-830U burner. I have update the firmware. Does anyone have a solution? Here is my latest log file:

Just an update on this problem. I still have not found a solution. Nero suggested upgrading to the latest version. I did that and downloaded the latest firmware for my burner (Sony DRX-830U). But the problem persists.

Strangely enough, if I play the burned disc back on my Sony burner or on the built in DVD burner in my CPU, there is no problem at all. But when I play the disc on any of my 3 stand alone DVD players or recorder, i get the jitter.

    Can anyone help me??

    Thanks

    Just 2 things I noticed

    I recommend burning at 4X

You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

You need to edit out your serial number from this post so it doesnt get pirated.
