Charging ipod video

    well i no the battery will only last 3 hours on video, and i dont even no if thats baklight included, but i work at a compter all day with a front usb 2.0 port
    if i plug in my ipod with a computer with no itunes will it just charge?
    or could something abd happen?

    nothing bad will happen, and it should charge.

    By the way, it is the ipod software that determins a reaction between ipod and PC, itunes is just a media player! :)
