Sounds like a weekend in Dublin lol.

 

My house is on a hill, so i've never had to worry too much about water intrusion.

This weekend laid down enough rain for my basement to have water in it. Again...yay.

 

Is that something to do with hurricane ike?

 

I'm up near Chicago on the Indiana side, i don't think it had anything to do with Ike...just a nice heavy rain storm. Hobart which is just a hop away from where i work got pounded and they're flooded pretty bad in the low-lying parts. Two of my guys called off today for the simple fact they can't get out.

Eva I think I'll have to move to the northside, we have just had a downpour hear in lucan but it has stopped now, can't complain when you see the hurricanes and stuff other parts of the world are getting.

 

It's doing ok...still hurts because there's still a slight fracture to it. Gotta wear this silly brace thingy for a while. But, it's a lot better than what it was.

 

@anto - well i know some days it has rained here and moggser said it wasn't raining where he is, so i suppose we all get it in turn! LOL!

@singer - i'm sure you'll be fine, just stick with it and try not to move it around too much if it still have a fracture in it!

Its out since yesterday (soaked) so i couldnt be bothered lol.
I`ll have to do another wash (i`m a dab hand at the oul housework LOL)

i couldnt be bothered hanging the washing out anymore - every time i put it out it rains!
