    I do miss the snow, but can't see living with it for 3 mon a year. On the other hand I live in HELL for 3 mon in the summer. To each his own I guess LOL.

    Edit: And for last 3 years have had a little bit "Dorothy in Kansas" once or twice in August. 4 hurricanes and 2 tropical storms.

    Is this early for the snow ddp, or around the usual time for it to start?

    it depends on how long it stays if it is early or not. last year, it was about this time & it stayed till we had a january thaw that last about a week. after that january thaw, we had more snow til spring then we did before the thaw & even then that was to much. our front yard which is about 30' wide had snow piled onto it 6' high from me shovelling snow off our driveway & front sidewalk.

    Same thing down here, snow was so high I couldn't even see above it when backing out of the driveway.
    The last snow fall we had left about 2 feet plus down the whole length of my driveway which is about 25' long.
    Thank god for my next door neighbor with his snowblower, Think I would have had a heartattack from all the shovelling.
    Ahhh gotta love Canadian winters. LOL

    @ddp and icanbe - so would you guys not buy snowblowers then, if you're guaranteed that much snow every year?

    I'm seriously going to look into getting one this year.
    I don't think I can stand shovelling again this year, Might just drive me mad. LOL

    I'd love a foot of snow! It hardly ever snows properly here, when it does snow it's only about an inch or two that turns grey and slushy and disappears after a day!

    @Eva
    You can have it. I'm originally from the South and don't care for snow if it's not on a postcard.

    @GM
    We'll try to keep it up here for you bro. We'll try to send some your way for Christmas though. :)

    P.S.
    I can't find my damn boots. :(

    @singer, is that not what your wife is for - to know where you left everything? ;)

    My guardian angel is a plump lady with a raspy voice that likes to smoke big, fat cigars.

    She still hasn't found my boots.

    @singer - You have to ask them nicely and not laugh at them! :)

    @Icanbe - yours is over here on holidays, doesn't like the snow! ;)
