    im building for my cousin...

    intel pentium 4 (531) 800mhz 1mb 3.0ghz
    gigabyte ga-8n-sli
    corsair 1gb 5300 667mhz (single chip)
    250gb maxtor sata2 hdd
    geforce 7600gt palit sonic
    dvd-rw
    floppy
    case + 350watt psu

    all for $600... is the price good ? btw, obviously im doing this for free, so the whole $600 is for the parts...

    Gaming rig usally means AMD rig!

    If i were you id change that to an amd processor...

    SOrry to be a bummer lol!

    i'd drop the floppy drive, there almost useless today. i would to go with a amd rig but the best amd rig i can build for near 600 ends at about 700usd, that intel rig should do fine though =)
