chorus hitting more channels

I have to disagree with you Mickah. I tried a starview usb box with latest N2 firmware. This didn't work. Can't see what difference a Kryptview box would make.

 

If the channels are gone to Nagra 3, it dont matter what box you have, as you will not be able to access them anyway !!

 

I'm well aware of that fact e45. Mickah reckons Chorus have moved most channels to N2. If this is true? Why can't I pick them up with a Starview usb box that has latest N2 firmware on it? I'm more incline to think they have gone straight to N3.

 

I'm curious whether they've moved BBC, the Discovery Channels etc to Nagra2 or Nagra3?

Is there a Nagra2 update for the eurovox max V 2008?

So we know premium Chorus channels have gone to nagra 3. But what about the other channels, BBC, discovery, eurosport? Have they gone to nagra 2 or nagra 3?

If they're gone to nagra 2 can someone tell me if the Eurovox max V 2008 Nagra 2 capable?

nope no fix for that box

SV1, the box, SV3, replay, Old Euros (Blue, Red, MAX V)Digivox silver and XL - no fixs nor will there.

There is fixs for the SV4 USB, Both Krypts, Digivox XL USB, Euro 7000, 5100, ITGATE Linux, Dream and one or two more but thats about the sum of it.

 

I hate to tell someone that they are wrong. However I know for a fact that their is a N2 fix for Eurovox max 2008. There's also a fix for the Eorovox SL 1000. However I can't see that this information is going to be any good to someone in Chorus areas. Seems to me that they aren't using N2.

 

if you have the fix for the Eurovox max v post it or point people to it, dont be causing people to start jumping up and down looking for a fix that doesnt exist.

Your the only one in the whole country that seems to be having the problem you are having, as I advised you all prem chans in Chorus cable areas are gone to N3, the balance shifting onto the N2, same as the rest of people on cable land(not MMDS), so this tells me the issue is localized to you or every other person in the chorus cable land would be reporting the same problem,

Just for pig iron, whats the firmware versions on the boxs you have tried?

Are you factory reseting the box when you connect to you cable feed and then re-scanning on your provider?

 

Things seem to be getting worse lads. I have a Kryptview 750 box, fully up to date software etc. BBC1 and 2 went the other night and now UTV and Channel 4 are gone too. I've tried factory reset, unplugging the splitter, deleting all channels. Nothing seems to get them back.

I'm on Ch*rus cable in Limerick btw.

 

there is a fix for 1000sl and 5000pvr.
dont no if they work but its down as n2 fix ireland.

is there work going in your area? perhaps a fault that they could be working on? Just trying eliminate the obvious. Have you tried manual scan for them? These same chans moved in August of this year

yes mate those are some of the fixs as mentioned above

 

I did auto scans - but these channels (BBC1,2, UTV, and C4) have only gone in the last week or so.

 

I've heard a few will go each day till there all gone to N3

 

did ya try scanning manual on the above frequancy's? just to see if they come back in perhaps?

If indeed they are starting the move of chans from N2 to N3, then its curtains.

Hopefully its a glitch perhaps
