Well in terms of video mode switch...no. The Xbox is coded to either be pal or ntsc output by default, depending on the region you bought it at. And there are no physical mode switches under the hood. To replace the a/v outputs on the xbox, you must have a steady hand at soddering and be able to recognize various leads on the xbox motherboard. You can pickup standard a/v output leads from any Radio Shack or other hardware provider. Again, this is just speculation. There are literally a plethora of possible reasons as to why the xbox displays no sound or video. The flashing lights are just the xbox's way of saying "Hey dummy theres no a/v for a reason, FIX ME!" I would consult with a tech professional in console repair or speak to M$ directly. They may be ablt to fix it for you cheap.

well no a/v cable or bad output is usually flashing green/orange, im fragging. Also if you are softmodded then you can change the video mode on the xbox, which if its changed it could screw some things up.

The reason its flashing red and green around the eject button is because it has a problem with the booting up and who evers xbox that was shouldnt have brought it into the pawnshop
