LOL, there's no waste when it comes to P.B Loco! Unless I'm full, then I'll have my puppy do the cleaning...
Since the polycarbonate used for optical discs is the same optical grade used for eyeglasses, eyeglass cleaner is perfect for getting off smudges and fingerprints. Always wipe from the center of the disc outwards because any scratch then is perpendicular to a track. (Wiping a disc in a circular manner the way one would wipe a dish dry would potentially scratch a disc parallel to the tracks and cause much more damage.)
@cincy You dog!!LOL Just a professional reminder: Do NOT use toothpaste to just clean a smudged dirty disc. If you're trying to polish out a scratch, maybe. Almost ALL toothpastes are loaded with fine grit(pumice dust) to help clean the teeth. I speak from experience.Just grit your teeth with a mouth full of toothpaste and you can feel it.
you can clean your dvds using warm water and a soft lint free cloth do not use a circular motion while cleaning
The softest cloth may be an old T-shirt that has been washed many, many times. Glass Plus is a non-amonia cleaner that I use on my discs and glasses. Just my opinion. George
best think to do is use d-skins that way you don't have to worry about finger prints and other things!
