hi and please excuse me this is my first question so please bear with me being a newbie I have been using dvd decrypter and clone dvd(both old and new version)on my old computer(gateway with windows xp)for 2 years when my son-in-law was overseas i would copy a movie and send it to him.I have only used it once or twice since he's back home still a'ok.I recently upgraded to a new dell computer and reinstalled all programs with no problem.I tried to copy a movie just to make sure the programs are working and decrypter is working fine but clone dvd is not,the program is ok but it's not allowing me to go to the last stage. I believe power dvd that came with my dell is trying to play the movie instead of allowing me to copy it slysoft told me to stop using decrypter and using another product from them anydvd I can't understand why it seems like they want me to ditch decrypter even with it working fine any help would be great sorry if this is a long story
either use anydvd or dvdfab decrypter to remove the copy protection, use this thread for better backup options http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/622748
thanks for the info but why would i need the products you mention.I can take any movie and it copies fine in my old computer as i mentioed in my first post and taking that same movie it does not work in my new computer isn't that the computer?or am i just not understanding the process? is the copy protection with the computer or the movie
yes the copy protection is within the movie, reason i said to use either anydvd or dvdfab decrypter is because they update to do the newer movies . dvd decrypter can't do most of the newer movies being its hasn't and won't be update in years
ok my problem is my dell computer because i can take the same movie go to my old computer and use the same(dvd decrypter & dvd clone newest version)and they work fine movie plays fine. take the same movie and go to my new dell computer the decrypter works fine but dvd clone will not copy it and i can't ask dell why that's why i'm trying to find out here someone must have a dell computer with cybrtlink power dvd i think that's the problem
do you have the same operating system on both pc's? and dvd decrypter is dam old and not updated, there will be alot of films this cant do... so may aswell learn whats out there and can do the lot...
hi sorry i didn't answer sooner i was away on business.I have xp pro on both computers and i realize that dvd d is old but it copies the movie fine. I was able to talk to a dell tech and he said the problem most likely is the drive not the power dvd program any help on that
