clone "the box"

I see there are clone Starviews boxes out there but are there any clone Starview 2 "The Box" yet.?? recommended one to a friend after having my "The Box" for a few months. We can't seem to get to change the EMU via 1570 or via the Parental menu and "info" then 2004. All pictures look I checked of this box point to it been genuine, remote seems to be genuine and the correct slots on the top and the scarts on the correct side. The software version is 2.56. which I believe is the issue. Now is it ok to flash straight to version 4.52 and then 4.53 or do I need to go through version 3 as well.??

Thanks dude. I am just trying this as we speak. is it only the bin file that needs upgrading or do I need anything else.

cool worked but only after I updated the The Box logo file as well.
