This link fixed my clone starview, it was put in by newbie0 and I am very grateful to he/she for this link as I was desperate. Because I was desperate and given the fact that I had my starview cloned box which I was conned into buying on E-*ay for so long, I thought I would take the risk of trying a download not from our much trusted afterdawn. Well it comes with the GT4 loader and worked first time. I hope someone respected by afterdawn tries it and puts a link in that you can all trust? but until then http://rapidshare.com/files/106508786/clone_safeautoroll.rar.html Enjoy your viewing! Please note this is for CLONED STARVIEWS ONLY!
this is a fake file guys & DO NOT USE IT , as i now sunrise did not make this file, its just renamed as the orignal starview1 file that came out last night
they can take weeks to die so best of luck give us a buzz in a month or 2 if u havent got a pricey paperweight
No last time they went down was due to the S/V update for a genuine box the clone chip runs slower than a genuine chip so needed a diffrent firmare we got one and that worked a treat, i dont see why this update wont do the same , last time the clone died and needed j tagging it took 2 to 3 days to die but it was coz a gen firmware was in it .
It sure is some people view the s/v clone as an enemy it isnt, it runs very well in its own right with the correct firmare long may it reign.
Look guys, you've been warned by TAFSIR, then scouser, then ferg, and now I'm throwing in my 2cents worth; DO NOT upgrade the firmware on your clone SV, there has not been a release made for it yet. It is a renamed version of the genuine firmware. As has been said here, and other threads, yes, it does work on clones, BUT NOT FOR LONG. It will kill your clone, may take any where from a few hours to a few weeks, it's just the luck of the draw. When it does die, you'll have the joy of either building or buying jtag cables, or paying someone to do it for you. We went through all of this last year, so listen to what you are being told. Wait for an announcement by one of the well known usual suspects on here, that the firmware is released and safe to use. If you want to take the advice of some newbies, go ahead, but don't start whingeing if your SV dies, you have been warned not to use this so-called 'clone safe' firmware.
Can anyone tell me what the procedure is for excessing the codes on a Eurovox box so i can update them for my friend. Appreciation in anticipation
