Hi all, for a few days now i have been unable to make backups of my movies i keep getting a [bold]10 0 W2[/bold] error message..i've tried updating my firmware, using different blank media/software/formatting my drive/uninstalling os & software & nothing seems to work..i'm using a Maddog 16xdvd9, Memorex 8x -R & win xp sp1..has anyone ever had this problem besides me? if so..can u please tell me how to get around it i've been up to all hours of the morning trying to figure it out..thanks in advance

i was able to make 2 burns but the problem still continues i'm still not sure whats causing it, i've been losing sleep trying to figure this out ..if u get around it please let me know..and ur right it is extremely frustrating
well newest version is 2.5.3.3 is that the version your using? And, is that the version you've always had?
PM me your email address ... I can send you 2.4.5.4 the file is only 4.48mb. See if you still get the same error. PM me ... do not post it in the open forum. Forum rules.
just tried a previous version but i still get the error message only difference is its a[bold]9 0 W2[/bold] instead of a[bold]10 0 W2[/bold] LoL.. thanks for the suggestion though..i'll keep trying
lol .. so much for that thought. I would try slysoft support see what they have to say. http://www.slysoft.com/en/contact.html
no i have'nt but i'll give it a go..i'll try anything @ this point lol..[bold]question:[/bold]do i need to adjust my settings if i'm trying to burn a dvd9? and if so would i use the dvd ram or customs options?
The Fuji is on the list of accepted media, unless Fuji and Fujifilm are different (which they probably are). Any idea what this error means? Let me know if you have any luck, animedvds... Also, my error happens at the exact same time as yours. CloneDVD2 recognizes the media, it says it is erasing/preparing the disk or something like that, then as soon as it starts the write, it spits the disk out. Instantaneously, almost.
yes muddy thats "exactly" what happens to me as well..no luck though, i'm still trying to fix the prob. funny thing is that i have 2 movies saved to my hard drive that i am able to burn just fine within minutes but whenever i try to do it w/a new movie i can't i'm starting to think that perhaps it may have something to do w/the size of the movie and the settings.. on the Title Configuration screen at the bottom on the left hand side of where it saids quality there is a little box that is set to DVD-5 by default the other day i played w/the settings i went to custom and set it to 4463 and it did'nt burn but when i went back and changed it to DVD-5 (while the custom stayed at 4463) it gave me one of my 2 burns..i tried it again w/another movie but it did'nt work so i'm not sure yet what it is..i'll keep you updated if i find something
by the way muddy..its not the disks i've tried fujifilm, memorex, and verbatim and i still get the same error
