Ans another question while we are on the subject. I have just switched to CloneDVD2 two days ago - and I am totally sold on it. I was using Nero, but hit some real snags with some backups which just sailed through in CloneDVD2 as perfect copies - same media, same original disk, different results.

But I have two dual layer drives, but CloneDVD2 is insisting on reading from D and then writing to D (tiresome switching of disks!), rather than reading D and writing to F. Am I missing something obvious?

Try this since I never really used 2 drives with Clonedvd. Make your first choice(like Clone DVD). On the second screen at the top line you select the location of the original dvd or files. Pick BROWSE and select your D drive if thats the reader. Then on the screen where you are ready to burn select F drive or the name of that burner if shown. Let us know if it works.
