    Hey guys Im using Elby CloneDVD2 2.9.9.2
    Writing to video Media Was not successful, Media write error, A write error has occurred, probably caused by a bad media Details
    WriteDVD 10 11 W2

    Using Memorex dvd-r 16x Media
    Brand new. Whats the deal?

    You dont know how correct that statement is.

    Memorex are probably the worst media you can buy, they are normally made by CMC Mag and they're too inconsistent in their manufacture.
    I would try Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or Sony(made in Japan)

    you will have many failed burns if you continue to use memorex.

    Heres a little light reading about memorex.

    Somewhere, up top, near the banner, it should state: "Avoid Memorex media at all costs!"

    I wouldn't use it if it was free.
